The Center for Advocacy, Prevention, and Empowerment (CAPE) at CSU Dominguez Hills is a dedicated support resource offering confidential assistance to students, staff, and faculty affected by interpersonal harm (unwanted sexual experiences, intimate partner harm, and stalking.) Our mission is to reduce potential barriers to academic, professional, and personal success caused by interpersonal harm. CAPE is committed to empowering informed decision-making, enhancing safety, and fostering positive coping skills to improve overall well-being and campus connections through education and advocacy.
CAPE provides free support to CSUDH students, staff, and faculty regardless of when or where the harm occurred.
*CAPE Counselors maintain strict confidentiality as mandated by California Evidence Code Sections 1035.2 and 1037.2. CAPE does not disclose information about individuals who utilize our services to external organizations or other campus departments.
Hours of operation: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-6:00 pm. (Weekend appointments are also available upon request.)

About Title IX Sexual Misconduct Reporting
CAPE does not receive, document, or investigate reports of sexual misconduct. Instead, we offer vital information about reporting procedures and actively assist individuals in filing reports, guiding them through the process.
